ҹɫÍõ³¯

This scholarship was established to honor and in memory of PerYngve Brolinson, D.O. It as instituted by his family, including his son, Per Gunnar Brolinson, D.O., Vice Provost of Research, and family medicine/sports medicine physician for the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (ҹɫÍõ³¯) and Virginia Tech, and Gunnar's wife, Lesia Brolinson, for Virginia Campus students whose career plan is to practice medicine in a town with a population under 15,000 in rural Virginia or Appalachia. The recipient must have successfully completed Block 1 at ҹɫÍõ³¯, express a strong intent to practice in an area in rural Virginia or Appalachia with a population under 15,000, demonstrate a compassionate and altruistic spirit, and demonstrate financial need. Only one scholarship will be awarded annually and a student can only receive an award once.
